The QA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification, specifically designed for those who are appointed to act as a first aider in their workplace. It is also ideal for people who have a specific responsibility to provide first aid in voluntary and community activities.
*Blended Learning: This will equate to 6 hours remote training and 6 hours classroom training.
Over a 2 day period, Learners will refresh their skills and knowledge needed to deal with a range of first aid situations, including: assessing an incident, managing an unresponsive casualty, CPR, heart attacks, choking, head and spinal injuries, fractures, and anaphylaxis. During this action packed course learners use state of the art real time blood flow manikins, training defibrillators and much more.
6 x Practical assessments, 2 x Theory assessments (Multiple Choice Question Papers) and continuous formative assessment conducted throughout the course.
Successful Learners will receive a QA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (RQF) paper or e-certificate certificate valid for 3 years, example:
This qualification is for experienced/qualified first aiders who have previously completed a full 3 day Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work course. Certificates must be renewed within 28 days or re-qualification may be required. Annual refresher training is recommended each year until re-qualification is required.
